Son óleos y técnica mixta sobre lienzos y cáñamos. Cuando se ha elegido el cáñamo como soporte y la línea con esmalte se logra fuertes texturas. La temática predominante es Quito, ciudad que incluso aparece apaisada, para dar la sensación de una urbe que se extiende a lo largo de las montañas andinas. Claro que también hay pinturas que sugieren otras arquitecturas como, por ejemplo, “Jerusalén”, o “Lenguaje de Agua”.

ARCHITECTURES

These are oil paintings and mixed media on canvas and hemp. When the textile chosen is hemp and the line is elaborated with enamel, the outcome is a set of strong textures. The predominant theme is Quito, a city that appears horizontally, insinuating an urban setting that extends alongside the mountains of the Andes. Of course, there are also paintings such as, “Jerusalem”, or “Language of water” ,which suggest other architectures.
